 齒輪是(shi)指輪緣上有齒輪連續嚙合(he)傳遞運(yun)動(dong)和動(dong)力的機械元(yuan)件。齒輪在傳動(dong)中的應用很(hen)早就出現了。19世紀(ji)末，展成切齒法(fa)的(de)原(yuan)理及(ji)利用(yong)此(ci)原(yuan)理切齒的(de)專用(yong)機(ji)床(chuang)與(yu)刀(dao)具的(de)相繼出現(xian)，隨著(zhu)生產的(de)發展，齒輪運轉的(de)平穩性受到重(zhong)視。
